Turkey Tourism starts new website for India

Turkey Tourism has started a brand new website for India; it is www.turkeytourism.in. This website is a part of the campaign called A Million Reasons launched for the Indian market in May 2013. This initiative was taken by Turkish Airlines and Turkish Culture and Tourism Office.

The site is designed by top internet moguls and it features the key attractions of the country and its appeal to families, solo travelers, business travelers, MICE, luxury travelers, backpackers as well as adventure tourists. The site also have e-visa app www.evisa.gov.tr introduced in 2013’s April.

Brand USA arranges 2nd travel trade

Noida gets a Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management

A brand new campus of IITTM (Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management) has come up at the NCR zone. The new campus is spread across ten acres in Sector - 62 of Noida and it is constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 27.70 crore. The IITTM Noida campus will be inaugurated by K Chiranjeevi, the Union Tourism Minister, on Tuesday.

India set to promote its tourist destinations

To promote Indian destinations across the world, a delegation guided by Union Tourism Minister K Chiranjeevi will have long meetings with travel operators in Berlin, Germany during an international tourism fair. Today, the Tourism Minister left for Berlin, Germany to be a part of the International Tourism Bourse where he will have meetings with tour operators, travel writers as well as other stakeholders, said a Tourism Ministry official.

Argentina targets Indian tourism

With an increasing interest from the Indian travelers, now Argentina Tourism is looking to promote their country in Indian market. To old the Indian tourism market and have a regular touch base with Indian travel business, recently, Argentina Tourism named Knack Marketing as India Representative. India ease visa restrictions

India has relieved visa restrictions for South Africans to smooth the progress of business and tourists arrivals that even include a feel-bitter control on coming back to the country within a time period of only two months.

Tourism Ministry of India has launched 2 brand new campaigns to promote Indian travel destinations to Indian as well as foreign travelers. The international campaign has been named as ‘Find what you seek’ whereas the domestic campaign has been named as ‘Go Beyond’. Both the programs were launched at the World Tourism Mart in London. World Tourism Mart is a yearly international event held from 5th November to 8th November.

MPSTDC all set to develop eleven royal properties

The MPSTDC (Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation) is looking to get old palaces as well as other properties in various locations throughout the state. Mohan Yadav, the Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, told that they were looking to acquire eleven royal properties in various locations including Ratlam and Ujjain. Once these properties are acquired, they will be developed for the tourism purpose.
